Literally who purchases services from a travel agency except corporations and near-death boomers?

I'd just travel Space A at this point anyway for free. Bring your own peanuts. Serve yourself.

We never used travel agencies even when I was a boy.

My father was the travel agent.

The itinerary was you get in the car and drive somewhere my father wanted to see.

Along the way, if you see something else that is interesting, you pull over.

Where do you stay? Motels.

What do you eat? Sandwiches.

What's the entertainment for the evening? Sports on tv, enjoy.

That's how it was in the 1950s for my father, and he just rolled like it was 1950 forever.

It's not like we didn't go to Disneyland, we did go to Disneyland, we just drove up, parked, and walked right in.

That's what happens when you refuse to change with the times. They still had 600 high street stores in a time when everyone shops online.

Not required. I never go for a package vacay.

Even if I'm going to Europe, I just book a flight and then rent a car.

If I need a room, I call ahead and take whatever is available.

If nothing is available, I keep driving to the next town.

I'd rather just do my own thing, drive around and explore.
Yup. I don't get why people want to pay 30% extra to have someone else book for them.
They've been going down the pan for at least a decade.
When people have families, mainly children you need to plan ahead. To my understanding Thomas cook didn't fail on the travel agency it was the airline that sunk them. Here in the states you join AAA and with your membership you can get a lot of resources to book your trip included.

Maryland Congressman Elijah Cummings, a Democrat and Chair of House Oversight and Reform Committee, has died.

He was deeply involved in the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump, a Republican. There was no information immediately available on the cause of death.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.
