Usually, the people who break out of the brainwashing are understandably paranoid that their every move is scrutinized by potential doxxers. Registering to a classic forum isn't really a great opsec rule, as forum posts are easier to search than tweets. We here at the MHF are all time travelers from the Old Internet, being the internet from 2001-2016. If you have dissident opinions nowadays, you are in danger if you interact with people online.
