How you might ask?

Stopped the offending antidepressant... and helped the kid address relatively minor bullying.

Antidepressants are not a solution to bullying y'all.

Make sure that you prescribed aderall and xanax in order to address the child's ADHD and hyper activity. Also if transgender patient give them plenty of hormones...

Hadn't told his parents that it had started again.
Hadn't told his friends out of fear they would shame him.
In hospital he come out with it.
The bullies were taking advantage of his insecurity and piling on him when no-one was looking.
Finally they humiliated him out in the open.

His father is a police officer and caught him trying to access his fire arms...
He had been planning this for some time.
He was unrepentant about his intention to go to the school and shoot his tormenters.
His father brought him to the hospital if you can believe it.

Even if you were small, plenty of small dudes never get bullied even once. Is that a Dukes of Hazard lunchbox? R U in Chess Club? Do you button your top button? Is that Brillcream combing over a cowlick? You were probably a flashing red light.

Only once if you show them off. Problem is, most people I've seen who are targets of bullying, especially at elementary and middle schools, can't see off the bully. For guys at least, since that's who we've been talking about here, I can say that "only once" isn't a reality for the average bullied kid. My experiences with bullying all but stopped once I started wrestling, but that solution only works if you'll do well in martial arts (and the fifth grader who's five tries away from a black belt in karate will not, in my experience, have any sort of knowledge on how to fight).

You don't need to be the obvious target to get bullied, but if you are that guy, you more than likely won't be able to do anything about it. And when you do try to resist and they win, you haven't done yourself any favors, since now they know you can't do anything about it even when you try. I solved the issue by getting able to do something about it, but others around me couldn't have managed to get there without more fundamental changes that would have on their own helped their bullying problem.

I feel like everyone is just glossing over the fact that this kid, not even a full grown man, was on SSRI's and his parents were so complacent they just went along with whatever Dr. schlomo the "pyschiatrist" said instead of having to talk to their own son until it was damn near too late. And even then they are lucky the kid wound up with Dr Y. It could just as easily been another quack that decides to give him five more prescriptions.

And I know about this. A Jew quack gave me Wellbutrin and Adderall in my sophomore year of high school. My parents were just like "whatever." Too busy working to even give a fuck let the magic pills fix everything. I was lucky enough to decide to stop taking them on my own
