The same NFLPA that brought us ‘free agency’ and the never ending joy of contract arguments and players hopping teams every 3 years. Love em.

Of all the unions in the sports world the NFLPA is the weakest one. Contracts arent guaranteed, salary cap, Thursday night games, waited till this fucking century to establish some kind of fund for the older guys.

Worst deal they’ve made since trading away pretty much every decent running back for a decade. Mack is an absurd overload on the salary cap for a dozen sacks.StCapps wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2019 10:20 pmGot you Khalil Mack, why you complaining?SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Tue May 07, 2019 10:18 pmThe same NFLPA that brought us ‘free agency’ and the never ending joy of contract arguments and players hopping teams every 3 years. And they have the gall to market him as a “LB”, to placate the fan base. Idiocy.

I don't like paying anyone, the Grumpycatface method of building a team.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 9:11 amWorst deal they’ve made since trading away pretty much every decent running back for a decade. Yeah, really. The average NFL career is 4 seasons. Complaining about them switching teams after 3/4 is stupid. Sounds like a sweet deal for the everybody, especially the owners.StCapps wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 12:31 pmI don't like paying anyone, the Grumpycatface method of building a team.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 9:11 amWorst deal they’ve made since trading away pretty much every decent running back for a decade. If Khalil Mack was the best player on the Chicago Bears, they’d never win a football game. He produced a dozen sacks. That probably won them A Game in the entire season.
I love defense. It wins championships. But you’re talking about spending Tom Brady money on a guy that barely affected the season.

Re: katsung47
Well he might be overpaid sure, but he's still you're best player. No single player can win a football game on his own, not even Tom Brady, if you can't do that, that doesn't mean you are disqualified from being your team's best player. Holding players up to a standard that doesn't even exist is no way to judge who is the best player on a team. Khalil Mack had more impact on Bears winning or losing than any other player on the team, if you don't like that, get better players.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2019 4:34 amIf Khalil Mack was the best player on the Chicago Bears, they’d never win a football game. Also, if Khalil Mack isn't the Bears best player, then who do you think is their best player? If you say Trubisky, then clearly you pretty much think any QB is a team's best player regardless of how good that QB is and how good players at positions other than QB are, and that's just stupid. QB's are important, but they aren't so important that they should automatically be MVP of the team no matter what, which is essentially what you'd be saying if you think Trubisky > Mack, be real.
Mack is one of the best OLB's in football, the Bears don't have any other players near the best at their position on the team, Mack is very clearly the Bears best player, it's not even close. There is reason Mack is as overpaid as he is and no one else on the team is making as much, and that's because he's your best player by far.
