My Father In Law mutes all commercials. So when I'm at his house the TV is often on, but on Mute for long periods. It pretty much is a waste.

I never watch live tv, except for football/hockey. I always have a 'backup channel' that I flip to, during commercials. I can pretty much watch an entire movie during a game, on HBO or something.

Watching live TV is silly. Even if I want to see a show as soon as it airs, I wait until about 20 minutes in before starting.

If the guy had a stroke then he probably had high blood pressure. What are you supposed to avoid if you have dangerously high blood pressure? The "deprogramming" thing is ridiculous and probably not true - I'm guessing the family had to calm him down before he dropped dead and then used that rationale to lie through their teeth about the situation.

I just found it pretty ballsy for the daughter and wife to force their media choices on their father....................... but they liked the results

It's an interesting thing to look back on right now. FOX was insane with Obummer Rage in 2014 and 15 when it was made and produced..... Now, CNN, MSNBC and the others are full of TDS rage. We shall survive Trump too.
