Apparently, I can buy some paper glasses for 95 FUCKING DOLLARS, or get them the day after the eclipse

Solar filters are cheap, the production of said product is another story.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Apparently, I can buy some paper glasses for 95 FUCKING DOLLARS, or get them the day after the eclipse

Well, it occurs to me that I can't trust the boys not to stare at it. I need some glasses, or to keep them distracted for the day.The Conservative wrote:Solar filters are cheap, the production of said product is another story.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Apparently, I can buy some paper glasses for 95 FUCKING DOLLARS, or get them the day after the eclipse

Re: Solar Filter
I plan on just looking at it through my smart phone (when most of the light is blocked out) and then when the shadow passes over, I will look at it straight. I bought those ISO glasses, but they are pretty damned dark. I can't see a thing through them. I don't see how you will be able to experience the eclipse with those things.

You won't be in the shadow, though. Those of us in the shadow will be able to look at it straight when it's totally covered.
