I'll raise a glass to Jessie
I wish I had a picture of Maverick, he was my dog from first grade until my junior year in college

It must have been very hard to lose a dog you had for so long. I dreaded telling my oldest. Called her at college (3+ hours away) to tell her that we needed to let him go. 3 hours later I got a text from husband that she had just walked through the door.
Your childhood dog stays a part of you forever.

Commiserations, losing a pet really is the same as losing a member of the family.
My favourite cat here on the farm went missing just before Christmas after being ill with a bad chest, I guess the cold nights got him, we've not found a body yet.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Thanks, Penner. One of the reasons I chose this picture to post is that I remember you thought Jesse looked sad in my avatar. I remembered that and said to myself "I've got to find a picture of Jesse looking happy." So, happy Jesse picture for you.Penner wrote:I am sad to here about Jesse.MilSpecs wrote:If anyone would care to raise a glass to the dogs who've shared our lives.
