Good question
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Norsemen not into boats any more? I thought this thread was going to be my morning entertainment while waiting for the Americans to get to work.

Mississipi? I didn't know the Vikings made it to Mississipi.
Discovered by Columbus my arse, why do they even teach that nonsense any more?
comment section is hilarious

Sigh…Viking was a verb to the Danes, not a noun to describe them…it was all Danish back then throughout Scandinavia. Vikings did not become Vikings till much much later, they would never have called themselves Vikings, they went Viking. No one ever gets that right.

I don't have a boat, but have the use of many through family. Age thing, I guess. And I was in the wrong town when my mates got one a couple of years back. Sunk after a year, tho.
I have gown up with a wooden boat, called "snekke" in Norwegian. I don't have pictures, but this was the closest thing I could find:

Come on Sir Ben, you can win it again, in a British boat this time. About time the worlds greatest maritime nation lifted the America's cup.
it's not like the Vikings even know where to sit any more
As for Americans....
