Are those comics from when you were a kid or do you collect them? Is this about nostalgia or money or both?

The wall that's not in the photo is Silver Age that I collected when I was a kid. It was about half full when I started my kids in (Heath was 8). We had a book of covers of Silver Age Action Comics, and the kids would point at the one they wanted to get next and we'd look for it at a comic book show. We completed Silver Age about the time Heath moved out. We still went to comic book shows so Heath & I started buying Golden Age. (That's the wall you see.) All of it was about the hunt together, not the money, but then this year I started to think inflation was coming so I bought some 1939 issues for big money. It's still about the collecting but now the inflation hedge aspect is there too.
