Yeah, I'm not sure what Conservative means in Canada.
They want a monarch I guess.
But all they talk about is being liberals, so when does he get to his hard-pitch to reinstate a monarchy.

And does he also realize under a monarchy, he will no longer run shit?

Strange creatures, these Canadian "Conservatives".

it's the will of the people in Canada

it is in essence a theocracy

the Liberal Party of Canada is a state religion in effect

the elites who call themselves the "Conservatives" adhere to the cannon of the Liberal faith

they simply insist that they can propagate the faith better than the Liberals themselves

there's really no point in voting here, there is no way to vote the Liberals out, it's a faith not a party

Well ... at least it keeps you all on the same page.
Not a page I'd want to be on, myself.
But maybe if I were born and raised Canadian I'd find it to be wonderful.

Canada doesn't control its own destiny, all decisions are made in Washington or Beijing

the real conflict here is being caught in a no man's land between America & China

in terms of living in Canada, it's real cushy if you can afford it

it's like a company town, most people work for the company, I wouldn't call it a harsh realm, but it's a dictatorship in the end

being on the same page is overrated

especially if it's not a page you want to be on

unified yet polarized, America is in the goldilocks zone

I do not understand why you would want a system where those in power can just decide when there will be an election. Just another tool to manipulate elections in the favor of the current ruling people.
It hasn't actually been that much of a problem in my experience.

Calling an early election is actually a stupid move most of the time... so it doesn't usually happen.
History disagrees with you. Snap elections usually benefit the people in power it has blown up in their face only recently.

Jean Chretian knows

he knew when to call a snap election to benefit him

Justin Trudeau not so much, he's pulling a Theresa May

At least we don't have to wait for years of campaigning....

They get about a month to flap their gums, virtue signal and throw around some campaign money... and then we have an election.

At least we got that part right.

no Canada didn't

the only way to accomplish that

is by restricting free speech

America doesn’t do that

the trade off is hardly worth it

as usual Canada sides against freedom

and idiot Canadians see that as a good thing
