What was it about this guy that suddenly vaulted him to the top of the class, got him on speaking engagements with all the 'Conservative', pro Trump commentators ? He wasn't saying anything special, he wasn't doing it better than anyone else, he's not particularly wise or intelligent. He had help.............. Who, and why ? Logically I'd say that Johnny Goldman here was presented with the opportunity to pimp out his wife, and or, get pegged himself by some Conservative Inc guy in exchange for fame and fortune, and he did it. There's no reason for his rise to fame, being awarded a fellowship by the Claremont Institute who brags about having The publication has featured essays by Newt Gingrich, Sen. Todd Young, Sen. Marco Rubio, Rep. Jim Banks, and Sen. Tom Cotton as contributors.

Our host is far wiser, intelligent and accomplished than Jack Murphy. But fame alludes him. It alludes him because the establishment is corrupt and depraved. If you're not willing to sell your values, provided you have them, gaining fame is tough.

Being famous is mostly about luck, being in the right place at the right time to get the right people to advocate for you.

You have to have opportunities, but I believe our current culture makes fame available to people that will denigrate themselves. It's a very corrupt system that really promotes frauds. One needs to look no further than reality tv to see this. Average people with no special skills or even motivation quite often, play along with some producer to dramatize their lives. All they need to do is be willing to be made fun of or be party to the lies that what is on screen is real, it's not.

I know that's not the fame Marty is going for, but that's the primary way fame is being offered in your culture. Our culture doesn't promote merit, so finding fame by merit is nearly impossible.
