so if you are to be the American revolutionaries, the only question then is ; who is your France ?

which superpower is going to come to your aid against Washington ?

like, there is absolutely no point in trying to stage a revolution in Canada for example

Washington would step in and put that down with ease, and no other great power would come to aid the rebels
Great Powers will pull their forks out once Washington is unable to do anything and the power vacuum needs filling. At this point, bring it on, I say. America is in decline, and nothing is going to bring the nose up.

great powers would be loathe to empower you when they are able to take Washington down themselves

at the geotrategic level, guerrillas are only required against a powerful adversary

if Washington is simply a power vacuum ripe for subjugation, there is no need to incite a rebellion

like China can take control from the top down, who needs you ?

I think Washington is going to do all it can to keep the ship afloat. It'll be increasingly punitive strikes against dissent until they can't throw any more punches.

again, the analogy is Prohibition

the punitive strikes simply drove everything underground into the speakeasy's

the tyranny was actually lawlessness, the break down of law & order at the fundamental level

that's the tyranny in Canada

it's not so much about a Gestapo upon our throats, it's really just expanding lawlessness, chaos & disorder

on the surface everything looks normal, but in the halls of power it is a basket case like the French Revolution

see, it's not like a land war where you could show up with your rifles and shoot it into fixing itself

it's like a sea war, you are on a ship that is being scuttled by the crew, shooting at it won't solve the problem

the scenario is actually Ship of the Damned

the lunatics are going around scuttling the ship while you run around trying to plug the holes
