Glad you’re good, doc. Have sniff of scotch and unwind.
This is definitely a whiskey crowd. Is it because we're all White guys?
Meh, Whiskey, bourbon, anything smooth and strong is worth my time.

Those are both whiskeys. Along with Scotch.

Don't tell a purist that, they will rip you a new asshole.

They are given different titles or descriptors based on how they are produced.

Yes.... but they are all whiskeys. Bourbon whiskey comes from Kentucky, Scotch whisky from Scotland.

Again, don't let a purist let you hear it. If you tell a Scott that a Scotch is the same as Bourbon, they will cudgle you.

I would never say they’re the same. Nothing is as good as scotch - not even close.

There is a lot of good Irish whiskey. Japanese as well. The best ones are from Scotland but so are some of the worst.

Nothing wrong with American whisky. There are a lot of good ones. They just taste a bit different.

I've never tasted a Canadian whisky i liked, but I'm sure there might be one somewhere.

I'm a purist by the way.

There are some very good Canadian whiskeys...

My favourite is the high end 40 Creek... get as high end as you can find... it's worth the price... even the low end is passable in a pinch.

Crown Royal has a few high end whiskeys now that are excellent... but its more hit and miss.

Never had a good Japanese whiskey, yet... but I'm sure they are out there.

I have had Indian whiskey... that was very very bad.

Cold malt water can be refreshing on a hot day... true that.
