Personal autonomy is much rarer than wanting a king.
Yep. Phones and fast food are enough to placate them.

It's always something, just better now. Serfs want to be serfs.

So looking at Alaska, looks like 58% of people voted Republican as their first choice, but 51% voted Democrat as their first or second choice.

Looking at the recent history, the most a Democrat has gotten recently is the lat 10 years is 41%. In 2018 and 2020 the primary competitor to a Republican was an independent. In the primary election the eventual winner (Peltola) got only 10.08% of the total vote, less than 3 other candidates (2 republican and 1 independent), and 1/3rd as many votes as Palin. Palin received 43,000 votes in the primary and 85,000 votes in the election. Petola went from 16,000 votes to 91,000 votes.

This seems fishy to me.

All goes according to Gamera’s plan. Perhaps the place to start is convincing Gamera’s constituents that they’re just voting to fuck themselves in the ass with a hot poker.

Obviously, RCV is subject to perversity: "If my Republican don't win then fuck 'em, I'll choose a Democrat."

Hah - good point - perhaps that is what happened.

Our country is defined by perversity at this point. Most of the illogic you see can be explained by people wanting others to suffer even if they have to.

Turns out, the reason a Dem won in Alaska with RCV is b/c Republicans didn’t put a 2nd choice so Palin didn’t pick up votes. RCV requires extensive instruction & education or it’s easily exploited: Alaska is a perfect example.

Hopefully, Alaskans learn their lesson for November. Still, the results seem fishy to me. How does a Democrat in Alaska get 5 times as many votes in the election as the primary when the leading Republican only gets 2 times as many votes?

Did any of you watch Biden speak tonight? Holy fuck! It was like watching a retarded Hitler give a speech.

Creepy and scary. He basically labeled 74 million Americans as terrorist.
There is a time for good men to do bad things.

For fuck sake, 1984 is NOT an instruction manual!
