Yeah yeah, 'cos the Taliban are so trustworthy they'd have held up their end of the deal if only the troops had left earlier.
Derp.
that's what I said, dumbass

I was making fun of the people who think that

the dead giveaway that I was implying that

is my use of the word pretend

reading comprehension, get some
...and I was agreeing with you, pillock.
didn't exactly make that clear

your wording in combination with your quoting me, made it seem like your "Yeah, yeah" and "derp" comments were aimed at me

Well done Data, you've developed the human characteristic of paranoia. Now you just need to learn to recognise sarcasm...
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I recognized the sarcasm, it just seemed to be aimed at my statement

you were doing a DBTrek impression, and generally when DB makes a comment like that in response to a poster he is quoting, the sarcasm is aimed at said poster

The MHF, where even agreeing with someone ends in an argument.

just be clearer

and you will avoid a similar misinterpretation

next time around

invoking DBTrek style sarcasm after a quoted post, could easily lead the quoted poster to assume that sarcasm is aimed at them, without any further clarification, since that is how DB rolls

This wasn't clarification enough for you?

no it was

I am saying next time around

if you don't want to be easily misinterpreted in the first place

make it clearer before that misinterpretation occurs, especially when using DBTrek style sarcasm in a situation that DB doesn't usually use it in

if you don't do that, then don't be surprised if someone takes what you are saying the wrong way

those who want to pretend it wouldn't have happened afterwards, if Biden hadn't reneged on the deal Trump got
Not following. Are you saying that Trump deal leads to the same?
regardless of when America pulled out, the Taliban were coming back, to fill the void

May or September doesn't make a difference, in that regard
Who knows. Now we are talking about a history that won't ever exist. I don't disagree necessarily but now that it has all been mucked up, who can say for certain other than saying that this is Biden's mess? He wanted to be a hero so bad but alas.

he certainly handled it poorly

but if he handled it as well as he possibly could have

the Taliban would still have filled the void regardless

same as if Trump was still POTUS

people would blame whoever was in charge

as if they could do something to stop it

but that wasn't in the cards and the people who think it was, are engaging in wishful thinking
