HOWEVER - let me start off by saying that it's racist. Not non-complimentary to minorities racist, but capital 'R', overtly, racist. I find that to be a flaw in the piece, and I don't agree with that aspect of it. Yet, you could throw racism into an article on free market economics, and the piece would still be insightful and valuable, minus the racism.

Here's a small snippet to help you decide if it's worth your time:

...Socialism works not only because it promises higher status to a lot of people. Socialism is catnip because it promises status to people who, deep down, know they shouldn't have it. There is such a thing as natural law, the natural state of any normally functioning human society. Basic biology tells us people are different. Exterminate the natural aristocracy of Russia, and build a ruling class with a bunch of low-status people. Workers, peasants, Jews, Latvians, Ukrainians. Lenin went out of his way to recruit everyone who had a grudge against Imperial Russian society. And it worked, brilliantly...

That sounds like something else I've heard before...

Leftists tend to hate anything that has an image of being strong, good and successful. They hate America, they hate Western civilization, they hate white males, they hate rationality. The reasons that leftists give for hating the West, etc. clearly do not correspond with their real motives. They SAY they hate the West because it is warlike, imperialistic, sexist, ethnocentric and so forth, but where these same faults appear in socialist countries or in primitive cultures, the leftist finds excuses for them,

I think it presents a viable explanation for what we see in America today. A viable explanation being different than "the absolute truth". But I look around and notice a complete inversion of American values. Hard work is scorned. The traditional family unit is attacked. The people once at the top of the social ladder - successful business men, religious leaders, military heroes, etc, are now at the bottom. Those that were once at the bottom - LGBT, illegal immigrants, rioters, drug addicts, actors - are now at the top. Much of what was once considered good an admirable is now considered evil. Much of what was once considered evil, admirable.

Why?

People in authority promise to allow the dregs of society to exercise power through them if they swear fealty seems plausible.

"Hey guys, aren't you tired of being losers? Vote for me and my cronies and we'll declare you winners, and bring low those who are above you. We'll give you their wealth, their esteem, and you won't have to do a thing for it except back us to the hilt, every election."

This trajectory also fits Nietzsche's definition of "Slave Morality," where all is reversed. Nietzsche developed this philosophy from the early history of Christianity in Rome.

Its not just an inversion though it is definitely that. Its also that hip word "anarcho tyranny". So anarchy for pretty much anyone that isn't middle class or white and tyranny for the majority of citizens in the usa bc those people are white and have agency potentially and well fuck em.

So in conclusion we have resentment, ugliness (this includes fat people, sub average looking folks, and behaviorally ugly as in they are cowards, pushovers, and weak too ). This combines with the power establishment call it the Cathedral or the Elites etc. and now they are circling the remnants of viable middle class folks. This is where the neutering enters its final form.
