Republicans Will Lose Senate
The Never-Trumper governor in Georgia is playing with fire; L. Wood told a Trumper rally that if this fraud is allowed to stand then they should NOT vote in the run-off election. The governor immediately ordered a signature-verified recount, which will show Trump won, but it may be too late, Trumpers totally distrust the Republican Party.

What sickens me is that one GOP politician said, "Well, we'll just have to have the numbers so that they can't possibly steal it!" They're either functionally retarded or compromised. How stupid can you be?

Remember, I’m not a Republican, I’m a populist; fuck Republicans. I’m only temporarily on their side because of the Communists. Fuck Never-Trumpers and fuck the Lincoln Project; this is on them.

I'm aware of that. The GOP doesn't want to win. They want to complain and get paid for it.Martin Hash wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 1:09 pmRemember, I’m not a Republican, I’m a populist; fuck Republicans. This is why I'm done with the GOP as well as the Democrats. None of them will do the right thing unless forced to.Martin Hash wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 1:00 pmThe Never-Trumper governor in Georgia is playing with fire; L. The GOP has been desperately trying to revive Bush-era neo-conservatism from Day 1 of the Trump administration. They only supported the president when it was politically expedient. They have never been the good guys.PartyOf5 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 1:52 pmThis is why I'm done with the GOP as well as the Democrats. You can deal with the devils we know (Republicans) vs the Anarchists we are dealing with (Democrats) There is no way to defeat them as they stand now, we need to take them down not only from the grass roots, we need to take them down in every direction possible. Top and bottom, as well as from the sides.
We may not want it, but we need to fight and deal damage like Trump if we are ever going to get this country back.

I only want the Republicans to win the run-offs in Georgia to make sure Democrats do not have complete control of Congress. The only thing worse than a Biden victory is a Democrat controlled Congress. This is also why we need at least one strong third party to prevent any single party from having complete control of Congress or even just of either chamber. A STRONG centrist or libertarian third party that could act as tie breaker would go a long way towards easing tensions between the Right and Left. You no longer would just need a simple majority, you would effectively need to have a super majority to get anything done.
Much like a 3 legged chair is the most stable chair, so would a 3 party system be much more stable.

You won't get it with the Democrats in power, they are the reason for the two party system, and now they are trying to make it into a one party...TheOneX wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 3:29 pmI only want the Republicans to win the run-offs in Georgia to make sure Democrats do not have complete control of Congress. That is why I have been entertaining ideas that would likely lead to greater 3rd party influence. The Conservative wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 3:30 pmYou won't get it with the Democrats in power, they are the reason for the two party system, and now they are trying to make it into a one party...
This why I've taken towards approval voting where you vote for every candidate you approve of. This results in no downside to voting for a third party candidate as you can also vote for an established candidate. Unlike ranked choice you can't just ignore the 3rd party votes that got knocked off in order to give someone 50+% of the vote.
Then I also think because there is no way to legally eliminate parties it is better to embrace them, and use a proportional representation in the House. So instead of breaking up a state into districts you instead have each party provide a list of candidates, then people vote based on party instead of candidates. So if a state had 10 representatives if 50% vote for party A the first 5 seats would go to the top 5 candidates from party A, then party B gets 40% of the vote so the next 4 seats go to the top 4 candidates from party B, finally party C gets 10% of the vote so the final seat goes to the top candidate from party C. I think this style of voting would eventually cause us to have more than just 3 parties with some amount of representation in Congress. That could eventually result in issues when electing the president, but I think that could be fixed with using a runoff system.
