Its happening. Black people have achieved enough status in society that they are leaving the plantation. Once they escape the Owners send the Coon Dogs after them just like the good old days. In the 1990s the goal was to "make it out of the hood". This process has picked up steam and is a mortal threat the Democrat Party.
Just like the Republicans had to shelter runaway slaves in the 1800s, conservatives are being asked to do so once again today.
