Criticizing the government is...
How should one avoid triggering government?
Talk to it like one talks to a horse? Soothing tone of voice. Or like to a dog, by exposing your neck in a sign of submission?

Zlaxer is right: Bjorn you made shitty options. If you want, I can show you how to make a poll. I know in Denmark the govt mandates everyone agree on everything but in other parts of the World we have disagreements and don't get 75% of our paycheck stolen by Scandi-Marxist fiends.

Ah, Trump isn't the government? He isn't the President of the United States of America? Did Hillary really win and the rest of country has just been playing pretend with Trump to avoid hurting his feelings all this time?
And you only get the choices I offer to you, because I need to protect you from a bad range of choices. Having too many choices just makes you Marxist. That's what the government needs to be protect you from.

I think you misunderstand a lot of folk on here, Bjorn. I like Trump's attacks on the media. He has proven a useful conduit to erode their credibility and cause many Americans to see them for what they are. The media is normally a cheerleader for Stalinist policies (like in Denmark, a Stalinist State. Denmark is like Stalinism that is not even interesting to read about) and the fact that he has humiliated them and their Dem cronies fills many folks like me with schadenfreude. Trump's takes on things from guns to drugs is puritanical as fuck. He is a big gov't guy. As many have quite correctly pointed out, he is more to the left than Clinton.BjornP wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 12:08 pmAh, Trump isn't the government? I can't speak for everyone, but a lot of folks who hate the gov't on here just like Trump because he is making it harder for the gov't do do shit, and because he has pulled back the proverbial curtain. They don't especially like most of his policies, but he is a foil for the media/Dems which are evil as fuck.

The media has a credibility problem. They are at an all time low in terms of how they are viewed. This is partly due to Trump. This a great thing. The media has always been disgusting. Most folks didn't pay attention to this fact until 2016. If Trump does one good thing and one good thing only, it is to make the media look like the cum drinking Marxists ghouls that they are.
Dan likes to pine about this mythical time where the media checked gov't power. That time never existed. Every single bad gov't policy ever, has been lead by the media from the beginning. They are scum, and if Trump is the person that has woken America up to tht shit, then he deserves a modicum of credit.

Yeah, I get what you think you are doing. You cheer when Trump spites your enemies. Or, rather, when he acts like he does. To me, all I hear is him presenting himself as a victim, as someone who keeps losing - but it's "those other people's" fault that he is a loser. If he doesn't get his way, he is a victim, presenting himself as the most oppressed president in history. The fucking president of the USA. Oppressed.heydaralon wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 12:22 pmI think you misunderstand a lot of folk on here, Bjorn. I like Trump's attacks on the media. If people suddenly became critical of media only after reading a Trump tweet or hearing Trump whine about unfair treatment, they're morons who never really became more critical of media. They just picked a different, one-sided, 99% pro-government media outlet like Breitbart or OAN. Or Trump himself. Who is... the President of the USA. Literally, the Government in Person.
You like his attacks on the media and private companies, to the point where he threatens to shut them down? Right. How very freedom-loving. That'll show those darned Marxists. You know how you'd really get an increase in those liberal Marxist tears, though? Institute a planned economy, ban unions and businesses in favor of joint ownership of the means of production and only have one political party. That'll show 'em. You can call it "Countyism"...
Your schadenfreude is like pissing in the wind, like a serf spitting hilariously vile insults at the king... except the king simply can't hear you, and if they did... you're just a serf, so you're simply irrelevant. That's what you're getting out of it. A louder irrelevancy.
If all you're getting from Trump is soothing words, Trump is just a "Hope and Change" president. You're being played for a sucker. I predicted this in 2016, and it's holding true. Here you all are, and what do I hear you repeat: "Well, at least he makes the liberals cry? At least, he makes the progressives angry?"
And none of you "hate government". You love the government that appears to favor your interests, and hate the government that appears to favor your neighbour's. When it favors you, you call that "liberty", when it favors others, it's Marxist. Simple logic. Simple and dumb. As simple as SJW logic, except you'd replace "Marxist" with "Racist". The more demonizing, the more "true" it must be. Now you got the government literally acting like it's a victim of the horribly unfair words of a private social media company. And which wants to use the powers of government to punish that company. And you defend it. Like ChiCom kowtowing drones before King Government. Because you envy and resent the past and present successes and popularity of companies and media outlets that have a progressive bent.
