I don't like Trump
There, I've said it out loud. There can be no more confusion.
I'm led to believe that some of you didn't like Obama. That's allowed too.
I think holding leaders up to the spotlight is OK. In fact, it is necessary and highly desirable to do so if you want them to be held accountable for their errors.
Thing is though, were you accused of having Obama Derangement Syndrome every single time you did it?
How would you have reacted if every time you complained about him you were simply dismissed as having OBS?
If OBS accusations were levelled at you as a tactic purely to avoid having to counter any criticisms would you have put up with that?
Sometimes it is valid to say that an argument is deranged. That's OK too but some people have nothing else, all they can do is shout TDS at the slightest criticism. It's intellectually lazy, insulting and tedious. These people have another form of TDS known as Trump Delusional Syndrome which the same disease but on the other side of the spectrum.
Right, I've said my piece. You can now fill the thread up with posts completely ignoring what I've just said and calling me the worst case of TDS you've ever encountered or whatever.
Capps and Martin first...

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Well, if you said you didn't like Obama, you're racist.

I dont particularly care for Trump.
But he is a great disruptor, and he forces a lot of bad actors to expose themselves

Typical case of TDS

It’s often people who would welcome Marxism, both because they would benefit from it and the people they are envious of would be penalized, and have seen their perverse anticipation squelched by OWGs, who are most susceptible to TDS.

Re: I don't like Trump
Obvious that Monte has TDS as he strawmans everyone calling him out on it, by pretending they just attack any criticism of Trump whatsoever
He refuses to accept the possibility that he is a terrible judge of Trump, he has to maintain that his perception is based on objective analysis and not his obvious partisan hackery which puts hit anti-trump confirmation bias on steroids
If he ever figured out he was a shitty judge of Trump, then all his investment in hating on him would destroy his view of his own intelligence, so he buries his head in the sand to keep his bubble from popping

Disappointingly predictable.
No counter-argument what so ever.

I tell people to watch how Monte posts before he does it as an example of TDS.
