first time I went to get vaccinated, I had an appointment, and I showed up at the appointed timeSilverEagle wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 11:02 amOh I’m sure that is what it is.PartyOf5 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 10:45 amI noticed multiple articles yesterday (Bloomberg being one, USA Today another) claiming that 70% of US has had at least 1 vaccine shot. I thought that seem a bit high, so today I did some additional searching.
Every source I can find that lists actual numbers has the percentage hovering around 55%. I wonder if the 70% story is to make people feel peer pressure of being in the small minority. If they think they in the 30%, some will cave and get the vaccine simply for that reason. The US government and media is in full on CCP/USSR/Baghdad Bob mode.
I take my boys to their annual appointment today. When they tell me to give them the COVID shot and if they try to pressure me I’m going to tell them to shove it up their ass!
but it was just a huge line up, I would have been stuck it in for hours
so I says to this one security guard "how come they didn't say this was first come first serve ?"
then this other fat Millennial Mall Cop come out of nowhere, starts barking at me
he says "everybody has to line up, you're not special !"
so then I round on him, start walking towards him, and he starts backing up, until he is back against the wall
I'm right up in his grill like a drill instructor
I says ; don't say that, I am special, you don't want to find out how special I am
he just gulps, "sorry, sir, just doing my job"
then I just walked away
