Of course none of that would be necessary if people would just stay the fuck home and wear a freaking mask.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Its not just the masks. Its half a million people at a motorcycle rally, it's BLM protests, its travelling across the country on crowded planes for Thanksgiving, its election rallies, it's house parties, its Black Friday shopping.
Masks can only do so much. They are zero guarantee.
The problem here is that people simply don’t comprehend how big the world is, or how much actually happens while they’re sitting at home.
Why aren’t all of those bikers dead? Or all the spring breakers last year?
Life carries risk. And this doesn’t warrant the kind of risk that will stop people from living their lives.
Why should your rights be limited for the good of others.
400,000 excess deaths and rising. You could be at 600,000 before its over and equal Spanish flu deaths. You have already exceeded the last ten years of flu deaths in the US.
The economy is going nowhere until this is over.
We kept opening and then shutting the pub with each new round of restrictions. When we were open we didn't take enough to cover my wages, food costs and the fuel bills the pub lost less money when it was shut and just did take aways. People don't want to go out.
Look to Australia if you want to see an example of strictly enforced lockdowns. They have shut their borders and enforced strict restrictions. Their economy is open and they are leading the recovery.
Maybe...now, just maybe, flu deaths are counted as COVID deaths because the hospitals are incentivized to report it as such.
Hey man, I'mma open my jacket. Check this out.
That's some wild shit, ain't it?

Monte, why don’t you try posting some evidence that supports your position.
Also, where do you come off that it’s acceptable to lockdown everyone to save the vulnerable few? Using your analogy, your advocating to stop people from driving at all because a kid might get run over in a school zone.
