It was shot well, and had some cool fight scenes. But the plot was really stupid, and it did all that stupid ass zomg hackers tropes that are so commonly used in hollywood. The Chris Hemsworth character was not believable, not like Deniro or Kilmer or Pacino.

So long as I get my Michael Mann fight scenes, I get my Netflix price worth, it's not like I go to the theaters anymore

Blackhat was just on tv, I've been rewatching bits of it in the background

It definitely does not work, Hemsworth not being believable is at the core of it

The love interest is also meh, you don't really care what happens to them

But again, the action movie after is Mr & Mrs Smith with Bradjolina, which is unwatchablty stupid and boring

So it's all relative
