Muh Manija, Too Hot To Jaywalk
So if you're at the bar in McVeighs New Windsor House Tavern and she's in the corner with the Giant Fat Arab, what are you go to say to her ?
Walk over, say something to both of them like "Sorry to interrupt, (then begin to look more in her direction) but I saw this lovely lady standing here from across the room and I'd be kicking myself for the rest of my life if I didn't at least come over and introduce myself.", then look her right in the eye and say "My name is Stephen".

Direct, confident, simple, congruent and not too over the top if I don't fuck up the delivery. Lean into the thunderbolt.

There you go, I said something like that, "hey lady, I was watching you from across the room . . ."

It's hard to go wrong with "I saw you doing X, and came to say Y", as long as you have the X and Y fit the scenario and you have total belief in what you're saying.

With Shanda I had to play it more Austin Powers, every guy hit on her, she was bitchy af, so I went for the laugh as my opening move

My buddies bet me that I wouldn’t be able to start a conversation with the hottest person in the bar. Wanna buy some drinks with their money?
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I have some pickup lines that you are welcome to use Capps:

"Girl, you are like gasoline, because I want to pump you in the back of my van."

"Damn girl, you re like Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, because I never want to see you again."

"Girl, if I was Ariel Castro, I'd take you to my place now and never let you leave..."

YMMV with some of those lines, but it is worth a shot.

That was my edge with Shan, every guy in Petawawa is the Tough Guy so their hit on move is always flexing

Shanda said that I made her laugh, laughing all the way through our first dates

Ya, going indirect was a better play in that spot, good call. Charming and disarming, got to get her defenses down first, when everyone else is going in direct and flexing, gotta switch it up, the juxtaposition plays in your favor and makes you look less like every other guy.
