"Your people"?

Who are "Your people"?
God fearing Americans, the nicest, friendliest, most upstanding people on Earth.

You know, there is a special place in hell for people like you? You are falling into one of the seven deadly sins...
Like the Founders, I am a Deist, so I don't believe in Hell.

Hell on Earth, no tears in Heaven.

As I have no children : God, Wife, America, in that order.

If you don't fear death because of an imaginary (Man-made) being that is in the sky that is all-knowing, all-seeing, etc... (which is a descriptor of peeping top on steroids) Then you are a danger to yourself, for you don't cherish life.

Newsflash: If your plan hinges on The Conservative producing anything except pessimistic nihilism and self aggrandizing, you’re going to fail.
I'm not pessimistic or nihilistic, I'm optimistic, but I'm also a realist... and if people don't support their own self-aggrandizing you aren't doing yourself any good.

I've also lived many lives, done many things with this one life, and I can say out of experience that life gives you a few chances to succeed, it's your choice to take them or not. IF you wish to believe an imaginary entity gives you those abilities go for it, but it will not help when you believe in it too much.

I used to believe in a higher power, then my life went to shit, I prayed, I hoped and I was almost destroyed by grief. I can't believe in something that requires me to harden myself to outside stimuli so badly that it took a decade of visiting a psychologist and a wife that loved me no matter what happened that I was able to have a somewhat normal life... at well beyond my prime.

Religion are for those who refuse to take responsibility for their own action or actions of others, and other things that can't be explained. It is a coping mechanism, it is why we have multiple cultures with "one god" or "gods"... and why we have had wars over who was right. (and still are)

You want to talk to me about nihilism, go for it, but when one person rejects religion and states their own is better, they are no better than what people claim I am here. I at least admit that religion is a farce, and is nothing at this point in time a way to grab money and power (sometimes in that order) If I'm wrong, I'll admit it, but explain to me Rome.

All that I have ever prayed for, I have received

Like Tribune Clavius, God has worked his way into my heart, over time.

I feel for those who cannot find him, but I can only feel what I feel.

The Lord is with me, and always was, just took me awhile to realize the truth of it.

You do you, but when god doesn't stop the bullet from reaching your heart, but your body armor does, just remember, it wasn't god that made it.

Well, that's just proof that God understood the concept of division of labor. Man makes body armor to stop bullets and God creates the Universe and makes sure that it rains enough so that the enemy soldiers slip in the mud and miss their shots. ;)

Pfft, if god created body armor, we'd only need one level.
