It's standard, both in English-speaking countries and everywhere else, that the higher classes have always had various degrees of their own "language" or at the least vocabulary, and the other classes had theirs. I know they are. The "soldier" example was a hypothetical example. AFAIK, no such insult exists. It was a way to point out that even within the same country, you're going to have different ways of expressing yourself based on your class. "Pleb" is one such insult.
