Bloomberg is not Trump, he has no charisma whatsoever. Trump did not win because he was rich and that's all he had going for him. Trump also got in the race a helluva lot earlier and didn't skip the early primaries. Bloomberg has no chance. Trump was not polling at Kamala Harris levels nationally in December 2015, apples and oranges.

Democrats don't like rich, name recognition works against you with Democrats when you are Captain Stop and Frisk. He's dead in the water. The Dem establishment is not going to side with a former republican over Obama's VP, be fucking real.
And yet, they rallied behind a rich socialist....
There is millionaire rich and then there is billionaire rich. Who does Bernie rail against? The billionaires. Do you think any Bernie supporters are going to vote for Bloomberg, hell no.
Lol, you may not... there are plenty of people that would.

Bloomberg doesn't stand a chance against Biden, never mind Trump.

Bloomberg is not really a politician, he doesn't know how to mix it up in the trenches.

Biden at least is a player, Bloomberg is out of his league going against Biden or Trump.

Weak as Biden may be, he's still gonna get the Nom,

He's next in line of succession, that's how the Democrats roll.

The only real question is who is going to be Biden's running mate, that is what they are fighting over.

There's no gaffe which is going to take Biden down neither, because he has the media on his side.

The gaffes will come out in the general election, Biden is going to be entertaining as he blows up.

This is like the Democrat version of running John McCain.

Indeed, it's like I've been saying all along, the Democrats don't care about these gaffes, swing voters will, but the Dems have given him a pass at every turn, it hasn't effected his support at all. The gaffes will catch up to him in the general election, but not during the primaries, if they were going to, they would have done so already.

This election is already done. The Dems will run Biden, Trump will win.

The more interesting election is going to be 2024, because neither party has a clear successor there.

All Bloomberg has going for him is money. There is nothing else. How is just having money working out for Tom Steyer?
Tom Steyer doesn't have that much money nor name recognition. Nor a media company full of journalists or potential journalists willing to shill for him.
Having a media company to shill for him won't save him either. He's polling at Kamala Harris levels dude. He's Captain Stop and Frisk in 2020 Dem Primary, that is non-starter, use your fucking head. He is the most hated person in the entire field, he doesn't even have a 0.1% chance.
Not about saving, being viable is. Hell he could go independent afterwards. I don't think he can win outright but he can spoil and maybe even play kingmaker. The media party isn't going to be 0.1% on the media mogul. Maybe 3% or 4%. Kamala levels are fine for others with a fraction of the budget. He can make that work.

He can play spoiler, if he's really lucky, that's about it, and he'll side with Biden over the other options anyway even if that is the case. He's a Buttigieg spoiler, not a Biden spoiler.

Whoop dee do Basil, that isn't even worth talking about, boooring. Anyone who thinks Bloomberg actually makes this race interesting is engaging in wishful thinking, sorry to burst your bubble, the race is pretty much a foregone conclusion, you ain't getting your exciting finish, you ain't getting a brokered convention, it's never going to happen. People are going to drop out when they lose, not stick around to the end and hope they win a brokered convention, that's not a thing.

If Bloomberg runs as an independent, then Trump wins by an even bigger blowout than he'd win otherwise.

That next line of succession thing means you lose. Especially Democrats. Do we really think the establishment wants to lose, that they can't see the oncoming train?

I think they know deep down that Trump is going to win,

That's why I say this is like the GOP running McCain against Obama.

They're not going big this time, they are waiting for Trump to be gone.
