Who cares? The populists aren't going to do anything. The bureaucrats aren't scared of Canadians.

Call me when it's time to hang people from the lampposts, otherwise I'll be on my deck drinking margaritas.

Vive le Quebec, vive le Quebec libre.
Common ground between Alberta and Ontario might be gold for Canada.
Maybe even an understanding with Quebec on mutual tolerance around nationalist ethnocentric principles...
Too soon?

The British Crown and Canada are not the same thing.

Canada is simply Confederation. Confederation is simply an agreement. It's not a country.

There's no requirement to have any fealty to Canada to free hold land here.

Nobody in Quebec gives a rats ass about Canadian Confederation.

Yet somehow they are able to run the place.

Vive le Quebec, vive le Quebec libre.

The Pequistes are right.

Canada is shit.

It serves no purpose other than a money grab for entrenched interests.

Smitty finally embracing my “You don’t even have a country, really” argument ... after spending the last 12 years talking about how a non-existent Canada burned down the White House in 1812.

You were right. I was wrong. All that matters is the Declaration of Independence.

Canada is not worth defending. Can't save Canadians from themselves.

I don't even feel like a Canadian anymore.

They're alien to me.

My grandparents were right.

This is why they moved to America and never looked back.

Awww ... man. It’s no fun when the Canadians are dumping on Canada.

Maybe we need a swap. You and whoever likes America can come on down and settle, if you agree to take all these damn America-hating internet toadies that have never seen another country in their lives.

We have many “I’m moving to Canada” squealers already volunteering. We’ll even give you a good ratio, we’ll trade up to fifty squealers for every America-loving Canadian you send us.
