I don't think this will be the thing that causes the mass panic.

I would bet it is going to be bacteria, not viruses.

At some point antibiotics will be pretty much useless, then the parental panic shit is gonna hit the fan.

Influenza is not a permanent state of affairs, the Spanish Flu came and went, the public quickly forgot about it.

Bacteriological infection without effective antibiotics, is a much bigger problem, orders of magnitude.

Influenza only lasts for a season.

The Bird Flu comes, it kills quickly, but then it goes away.

It's not the same flu the next year, influenza pandemic is a once in a century event.

No antibiotics, is kids dying of infections all day every day, indefinitely.

The effect of no antibiotics, would likely prevent influenza from becoming pandemic.

Because the much more clear and present threat of lethal bacteria, will have caused the public to self isolate.

The state is swatting not you. The trick is to start getting them to swat child abusers. We can get the anti-vaxers too we just need to get the child abusers swatted as well. Swat them all.

Refusing an examination of your possibly very sick and contagious infant is child abuse or at the very least neglect.
We are talking about meningitis not just chicken pox here.

No antibiotics could actually rid us of the public school.

School would go entirely online as families self isolated from the kill zones.

That level of panic wouldn't have to persist for long, before all places where children gather would be deserted.

Bear in mind that decades of using antibiotics have created Superbugs.

The bacteria feeds on the antibiotics now, it just makes it stronger.

This is not just any old bacteria, this is potentially species altering level of threat.

Superbugs with no antibiotics makes flu a nothing burger.

You can vaccinate for flu, there is no vaccine for Superbugs.

That becomes routine.

Think of the panic.

You wouldn't get the flu.

Because nobody would be letting their kids play together anymore, and that is what spreads the flu.

No schools, no playgrounds, no flu.
