This is after the last show acted as though no one has any idea why Manafort was hired by Trump in the first place.

Manafort, Popadopolous and Gen Flynn must be destroyed, because they were they ones illegally targeted by the Obama Admin Spying Cabal as an inroad to spy on Trump. The game is destroy them, so that it appears your spying was legit in the first place. Muellers first mission is to make the Obama Admin ordered spying legit.
