Your Friend the State

Post by Fife » Tue Nov 13, 2018 9:08 am

What really baffles my country ass is the fact that so many people are so willing to accept the fairy tale of the state so blithely and uncritically all day, every day.

Fucking mind-blowing.

Kansas City Health Department pours bleach on food meant for homeless people
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI (Fox 32 News) - The Kansas City Health Department threw away and poured bleach on food meant for homeless people.

The food was going to be distributed by a group called Free Hot Soup KC. The Kansas City Star said that the food, which included home-cooked chili, foil wrapped sandwiches and vats of soup, was destroyed on Sunday, Nov. 5, during a coordinated sting at several parks where volunteers had gathered.

The Health Department said the group did not have a permit and was putting people at risk.

"E. coli or salmonella or listeria can grow in the food," department director Rex Archer said. "And then you give that to homeless people who are more vulnerable, they will end up in the ER and even die from that exposure."

The mayor also agreed with the Health Department, tweeting that "Rules are there to protect the public's health, and all groups must follow them, no exceptions."

One of the leaders of Free Soup KC said they will continue to hand out free food, but will just do it on private property.
BUT WITHOUT MUH STATE WHO WILL RUN UNDERCOVER STING OPERATIONS TO CATCH CHARITIES ATTEMPTING TO POISON HOMELESS PEOPLE AND THEN POUR BLEACH ON THE FOOD???

Apparently, a Health Department permit is E. coli’s kryptonite.

The town’s mayor also believes in the notion that paying the state for a piece of paper to serve hungry people food is some sort of magical defense against food-borne illnesses.

“Regarding the incident involving Free Hot Soup,” Mayor Sly James tweeted, “rules are there to protect the public’s health, and all groups must follow them, no exceptions.”
Seriously, is there any fairy tale the public will not accept as IRL when muh democracy stumbles around?

You're the only one whose mind is "blown" - Proles are meek Fife.

I remember have this argument on the DCF about these health procedures. When you have a big government like this it is kind of "no good deed going unpunished" is what will happen.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Pretty sure they cannot stop you if you feed homeless on private property.

100,000 cases of E-coli poisoning per year in the US.
3000 hospitalisations.
90 deaths.
https://www.foodpoisonjournal.com/food- ... ut-e-coli/
I wonder whether doing away with nanny state food regulations would increase or decrease those cases.
I'm guessing it would increase...

I'm also guessing that people hungry enough to eat out of dumpsters don't have full medical insurance.
Still, I'm sure you will all be happy to pay more tax to cover their medical costs.

Let's set up an un-inspected/un-permitted free soup kitchen on our private property next door to the MCD or KFC owned by the mayor's brother in the hood. How far do you think we are going to get with that plan?

You would also guess that the Easter Bunny is real, apparently.

I've worked for and against the morons running the state for almost 30 years. What made-up-nonsense you people accept as reality is simply stunning.
