Nah. The realities of Texan politics. Maybe not as elegant as clubby put it.
One only wonders how much time has been wasted being the “armchair quarterbacks” of the world. Only to know deep down inside we don’t have the stones to actually make it happen.

Everything is Big in Texas, especially the Lies.

Texas is not the home of Independence, Liberty and Resistence to DC. Hasn't been for a hundred years. It's very likely they will go Purple. They are the Number 2 landing spot for Kalifornia Ex-Pats. A lot of good folks in Texas, but they are run by their Urban centers...………………….. they're Fucked.

Which one of you has a state ban on sanctuary cities?
After Tuesday's ruling was announced, Abbott updated his followers on Twitter, highlighting that claims the bill would lead to racial profiling were rejected.

"Texas Ban on Sanctuary City Policies upheld by Federal Court of Appeals," he tweeted. "Allegations of discrimination were rejected. Law is in effect."

No, polling being advocacy and only serving a narrative until a few days before election are what this is. I guess you could say it is a branch of fake news. Just another thing one can add to "and they wonder why we dont trust them" file on the biased bitch media.

Voter ID law in effect,
The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld Texas' voter identification law, reversing a lower court ruling that found it discriminated against voters of color.

Impact of ‘zero tolerance’ on display in Texas immigration court. One after another, asylum seekers are ordered deported

The Rio Grande Valley Sector in South Texas continues to lead the nation in the apprehension of FMUAs who illegally cross the border from Mexico. So far this fiscal year, agents arrested 47,409 units. This is up from 44,445 the previous fiscal year — a seven percent increase
