I think it’s fair to say that both sides are pushing for radicalization. Believing that the nation should be divided into four sections, that urban cities should be nuked, and that leftist should be thrown from helicopters is radical - and we see it all the time here. We just don’t dwell on it as much as we dwell on the radicalization of the left.

It’s understandable, because the left is constantly drawing targets on the back of white people, straight people, males, and religious people, and many members here fall into one or more of those groups. So of course we focus on the side that focuses on us.

But the right isn’t just sitting idle.

There are signs of life on the Right, but not a lot from leadership. You don't see a strong GOP Caucus out there being vocal, and supporting the POTUS in the shutdown. Which typifies what the POTUS has gotten from the GOP since his election. The Dems should not be a factor in the Wall. Paul Ryan, and the rest of teh GOP fucked Trump a year ago. Same with Obamacare. The Right will get no where until they reform their own ranks and get the leadership on board.


Note: The Freedom Caucus folks have been pretty good fighters, but they are too small to make a big impact.
