So ... I thought about it. And ... upon considerable reflection it seemed unChristian.
As in, I don't think Jesus would approve of me fucking up the shelter of someone poor addict in dire straits.
Plus ... it didn't look inhabited - might just be a lean-to some kids in the neighborhood made on an overgrown lot.

So I made peace with not fucking it up until I know, without question, it poses a threat to my family.

I'm not out here to make the lives of the downtrodden more difficult.
I simply ask the same in return - don't come out here making my life more difficult.

but when I went down there to confront him, it was just a sad wretch of a man

so I just said, I'll give you a hundred dollars to move your camp out of here

if you come back a second time, I will have to call the Constable

but he never came back, he honoured the contract

Yeah - the problem is the lot is apparently owned by King County, even though it's literally squished between houses in a suburban neighborhood. And King County is pretty lenient about letting people set up camp wherever.
Which means in the eyes of the law I'd be the villain for physically encouraging the relocation of any homeless.

But ... some of my favorite people in history were outlaws, so whatever.


If it becomes a threat I'll address it, with minimal necessary conflict.
Until then, just watching.
