I say if you have to starve them to death then no...

You should feed children, brain damaged of not.

I am in favour of stopping machines that sustain life if the child can't survive without them... and have no ascertainable consciousness with them.

But if you have to withhold normal care in order to take their life.... that would be murder by neglect.

I guess the question might amount to.... what means are necessary to feed this child....
Total IV nutrition, Intragastric feeding....
Some of those are very difficult to sustain in the long term.... so starvation may be almost inevitable... without a lot of very expensive technology...
In that case I would consider changing my vote.

Voted NO, I would note if they are going to kill, just kill him, starving is inhumane.

Starvation is widely recognized as a weapon of extreme violence, a gross violation of human rights, and a crime in international criminal law.

It's inhumane to just leave Monty suffering in that fucking van. There's obviously no hope for him to live a fruitful life.

Suffering? I'm stood in my oak kitchen watching the barn owl do it's last circle of the meadow as the sun sets behind it. Nothing wrong with my quality of life except the recent work life balance.
