The former nuncio, who said his “conscience dictates” that the truth be known as “the corruption has reached the very top of the Church’s hierarchy,” called on Pope Francis and other Church officials accused of covering up abuse allegations to resign.
So has he resigned over the allegations that he covered up sexual abuse himself?

Unbelievable. NPCs really aren't human. This level of stupidity cannot possibly be real.

Ah, run out of answers and just resorting to insults now.

Why did Vigano not resign when he was accused of a cover-up? After all, he has called for anyone accused of a cover-up to step down.
Do you have evidence to support his claims or have you just allowed your hatred of Francis to override your impartiality?

I'm open to evidence if you have it but the regurgitation of a single Cardinal's claims is just feelz AFAIC.

Run out of answers?? Dude, I just quoted the facts to you. How many times do I have to inform you that this guy was defrocked by Benedict, and reinstated by Francis despite many people warning Francis that he is a homosexual predator?

You can say it as many times as you want but unless you back it up with evidence rather than claims I'm just going to consider it your opinion.
Opinions are not facts.

Archbishop Viganò, the papal representative to the United States from 2011 until he was recalled to Rome by Pope Francis in 2016, did not provide documents proving that sanctions were imposed by Benedict. Nor did he provide evidence that Francis knew about the sanctions or that he lifted them.

During the years that then-Cardinal McCarrick was allegedly sanctioned by Rome, he kept up a public profile that included preaching at high-profile Masses, giving talks and accepting awards. He testified in front of a Senate subcommittee and appeared in the media.

ROME — The Vatican has decided to fight fire and brimstone with fire and brimstone.

Six weeks after Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, the former Vatican ambassador in the United States, shook the church by accusing Pope Francis of covering up sexual abuse, the Vatican broke its public silence on Sunday with a scathing public retort from a powerful prefect for the Congregation for Bishops.

The prefect, Cardinal Marc Ouellet, called the accusations by “dear Viganò” “false,” “far-fetched,” “blasphemous,” “incomprehensible,” “abhorrent” and politically motivated to hurt Francis. He suggested that the archbishop would be wise to “quickly repair” his break with the pope.

“I cannot begin to understand how you let yourself be convinced of this monstrous accusation, which does not stand up,” Cardinal Ouellet said in the letter, which was written in French.

In these difficult times, we are tempted to “close ourselves in ourselves, in our fragile human security, in the circle of our loved ones, in our reassuring routine,” the pope said. But this withdrawal into ourselves is a “sign of defeat” that “increases our fear of others — strangers, the marginalized, foreigners — who are also the Lord’s privileged ones.”

well fellow Catholics, are you going to rid yourself of fear for these fine, outstanding light bulb heads? After all, they are God’s privileged the pope says.
