It's just a proposal from some people in one of the parties in government. It's not going to happen. They won't be able to gather a majority for a law. You must be prepared for a lot of signaling like this from Sweden since we are in an election year. Our election will take place September 9. I can make a thread about it if you want but Swedish politics is pretty boring.

The purpose of the proposed legislation is to combat segregation and promote assimilation. It doesn't have much to do with religious teachings in school.

It’s a feminist thing. Some Muslim schools have been caught on hidden cameras giving girls special treatment like having them sit in the back of the school bus and doing segregated gym classes. They’ve been gunning for the Christian schools for a long time being to conservative and now they can solve that with a blanket proposal.

I'm certain we would continue the school, even though I'm sure the thugs would shut down the physical building proper.

I imagine that's the sort of thing, over time, eventually our group would evolve into something much more subversive to society.
