Legal action against Silicon Valley

Post by Okeefenokee » Thu Mar 15, 2018 11:05 pm

Dennis Prager's lawsuit against Youtube is months old,

Many thanks to Archie for turning us on to PragerU.

Steven Crowder's recent suspensions from Youtube and Twitter have gotten him into the legal fight.

Tonight's live show still isn't up on Youtube, but he closed his show with this,
Blessed be the Lord my strength
which teacheth my hands to war,
and my fingers to fight

The war's about to start
This clip is from last night's show,

Clip from back during the election,

More to come at next week's live show in Dallas. We'll be there.

I would love for YouTube to go the way of Pets.com and Myspace. Some of these companies have forgotten how fragile their positions really are.

After tonight's interview, I'm expecting Paul Joseph Watson to join in.

YouTuber Law has had some interesting ones on them from a legal standpoint (he's a lawyer), as well as a lot of other things (like the loot box controversy).

(He's done several on the PragerU suit updating it as the case goes on)

I watched some of those videos yesterday. He's got some up covering the lawsuit between CIG and crytech.

Yeah, I don't get the CIG/Crytech one, CIG started off using cryengine and then dropped using it for something else, yet Crytech is coming up with (IMHO) nonsense that CIG owes them cryengine patches (even though they aren't using it anymore), etc. I don't see how Crytech can win it, but they're still trying - at least unless Cry's goal is to just hammer them with legal costs, but seems like that's a double edged sword.

He covers a lot of stuff though in good detail, worthwhile to watch IMHO.

There's a lot of angles to it that might be the reason they got upset. CIG and Amazon did some massive remods to the engine to make it functional for an MMO, and maybe that's what Crytech wants. Crytech lost a lot of money and talent, some of which went to CIG, and maybe they're just bitter about CIG leaving them for Lumberyard.
