Russian trolls

I have no idea how reliable or unreliable this source is... it seems pretty left wing...
But what is the consensus on the forum on whether Russia has been trying to polarize politics in the US and in Europe.
It seems plausible that they would like to destabilize their competition...
In fact this would be a genius move on their part if you think about it...
Are Russians playing 3D chess with Trump as a pawn?
This seems more plausible to me than Trump playing 2D chess with or without the Russians.

Re: Russian trolls
The left was all in favour of Russian trolls when they were Soviet trolls, but now that the Russians have abandoned the World Socialist Revolution, Russian trolls are suddenly a "dire threat" says the left; who knew?
The left have been getting a taste of their own rabble rousing populist medicine, and now they are crying "no fair" about it; quelle surprise.

It's fairly obvious that's what's happening.DrYouth wrote:Someone posted this in my Facebook feed.

We do the same, just not as well... yet.

Turns out they did meddle in the election -- on behalf of Hillary Clinton. Trump won anyway, and fact-free liberals are still prattling about Trump-Russia collusion.

Dear Kremlin,
While we remain at 15 minutes notice to launch on warning across the trace, don't let that stop you from undermining leftists and their sacred cows with abandon by way of information warfare and covert action, go right ahead, you can even put polonium-210 in their tea if you want, please do.
Sincerely,
The Right Wing Nutjobs.

I'm really wondering what the U.K. can/will do with Russians asassinating people relatively openly in their country.Smitty-48 wrote:Dear Kremlin,

Wasn't openly, the Russians did it real quiet like, totally covert and deniable. If the UK wants to harbour Russian traitors, goes with the territory, same as it ever was.Viktorthepirate wrote:I'm really wondering what the U.K. can/will do with Russians asassinating people relatively openly in their country.Smitty-48 wrote:Dear Kremlin,

Unprovable yes, but everyone knows who did it. Which is exactly what they want.Smitty-48 wrote:Wasn't openly, the Russians did it real quiet like, totally covert and deniable. However I don't recall any Russian traitors asassinated in our shores. Why is that? Is it because we can retaliate better? Is it because it's more difficult to execute the operation.
I'm genuinely curious.

Not necessarily, could have been a third party attempting to stir up fear of the Russians in the UK, could have been the CIA for all I know.Viktorthepirate wrote:Unprovable yes, but everyone knows who did it. 15 minutes notice to launch on warning, don't poke the Eagle with Thunderbolts in Talons Grasped, unless you're prepared to go to the mattresses. However I don't recall any Russian traitors asassinated in our shores. Ha ha, it could be anyone. Absolutely correct.Smitty-48 wrote:Not necessarily, could have been a third party attempting to stir up fear of the Russians in the UK, could have been the CIA for all I know.Viktorthepirate wrote:Unprovable yes, but everyone knows who did it. I don't think the U.K. Is to be trifled with either, if they decide to make a big fuss out of it.
