California vs. Federals on Immigration

Post by Martin Hash » Fri Jan 19, 2018 7:09 am

California Attorney General Xavier Becerra warned employers Thursday of legal repercussions if they assist federal immigration officials. Under a new state law – the Immigration Worker Protection Act – employers and businesses could face fines of up to $10,000 if they provide employee information to U.S. Immigration Customs

Dumb?

They’re solidifying their control of California for the rest of time. They don’t even have to appease American voters any more.

And if "New California" becomes a thing, and California wants to annex itself, more power to it. And yes, they are dumb... putting all your eggs into one basket is insane.

Their eggs are well diversified. They only eschew the white male basket. And they’ve just expanded their portfolio to include a considerable amount of non-American baskets.

Often, what’s bad for America is great for Democrats.

That is quickly backfiring on them unless you've seen the media lately, they are trying everything to keep hold of their power base, which is slowly being deported or moving out on their own accord.

SCOTUS says, immigration and border security is the perverts of the FEDS.

I'm pretty sure all the funding that goes to the states related to this says state will cooperate with the Feds

Well, this will get interesting. It's US law for employers to verify eligibility and states are not allowed to pass laws that go against federal law. That said, with numerous states violating that with their state marijuana laws....

OTOH, marijuana legalization has overwhelming support of the country, whereas not so much for illegal immigrants.

Jeff Sessions should stop focusing on marijuana and start focusing on Trump's agenda.
Account abandoned.
