So yeah, this happened...

An emergency alert notification sent out on Saturday claiming a "ballistic missile threat inbound to Hawaii" was a false alarm, according to state leaders and emergency officials, who blamed it on an employee who "pushed the wrong button."

So, in that 0.5% risk of NK actually launching a missile at Hawaii, I guess slightly more Hawaiians will look at the alerts and go: "Huh, probably just another false alarm".
Fame is not flattery. Respect is not agreement.

They already did. Blue staters are even desensitizing themselves.
"We all are going to die again? Oh did the FCC kill net neutrality again?"

GCF is going to end this term in the fetal position. I will too but it will be from laughing at these fucks.

So the WP is blaming Trump for not jumping on this and saying something about how this was a false alarm.
How is this his responsibility, and not Hawaii's? Seriously, newspapers need to start reporting the news again instead of having the opinion section be the entire newspaper.
Why is it the president's responsibility to respond to something the state should have a handle on?
I don't know, to me I would be hanging those who did the false alarm out to dry... fire/retire them and apologize to the people for scaring the crap out of them.
If Trump responded and said "Sorry, false alarm!" in a tweet, people would have said that the Trump Administration was ignorant and foolish for not having better reigns on the system.
So, have it one way or another, but Trump is not responsible for this, nor should he be held accountable for a state's emergency system screw up.
I may not have voted for Trump, but lets put the blame where it belongs.

I don't think anyone is blaming Trump for the fuckup. But it's pretty fucking obvious that he doesn't have any control over the White House staff.

Did you even read the article? They would blame Trump for their neighbors dog crapping in their lawn.
