Well, the Fins do have five first round picks from last year on their blueline:Speaker to Animals wrote:Canada probably cannot defeat Finland.
Heiskanen, Välimäki, Juolevi, Vaakanainen and Jokiharju. That's what I call a stacked D-core.
So they are no slouches, not an easy win by any means. Would suck to lose to those Finnish Pogue's though, can't let ssu have the satisfaction.

Finns are naturally superior to Canadians.

Not at hockey, but it is the Finnish golden age, so they are more competitive than usual. Don't sleep on the Fins, especially with that defense.Speaker to Animals wrote:Finns are naturally superior to Canadians.

It's not on TV, you got to stream it if you want to watch it. As for the schedule, I am viewing it here.Smitty-48 wrote:Where are you seeing this Sweden game? I'm not seeing it on the tv guide.

One wonders how far Svechnikov will fall in the draft due to the Russian factor, he's coming off wrist surgery, so this tournament is his make or break, if he doesn't light it up, could fall quite a ways.
