Ohio might try to Legalize again.
Well, here's for hoping freedom can prevail in Ohio. The only thing I really want to see is a break down of costs for cultivators. I'm hoping its similar to Colorado.

You're aware that they're sending out "voluntary compliance" letters to turn in any weapons, once you have a medical marijuana license?

Weed that will soon be sold legally as medicine in Ohio could end up in the federal government's crosshairs, especially for patients who own a gun or want to buy one.
"These are people who have feared prosecution for using marijuana to deal with their medical condition and thought they were going to have a sense of relief now that this law's passed," attorney Bill Gallagher said. "Now they may have an anxiety on a completely different level."

Marijuana is illegal on the federal level. So possessing it in Ohio, even for medical purposes, is a violation of federal gun laws.

I know OR (&WA?) allows you to grow up to 6 plants (IIRC) for "personal use", seems like a more sane idea. That being said, technically that still probably leaves you open to the Feds coming in, raiding your property, and confiscating your property/home as an asset forfeiture?GrumpyCatFace wrote:You're aware that they're sending out "voluntary compliance" letters to turn in any weapons, once you have a medical marijuana license?

Yeah, the feds are going to use this little sword of damocles to do whatever-the-hell-they-feel-like, for a long time. It's pretty much carte-blanche to override the Constitution.Ph64 wrote:I know OR (&WA?) allows you to grow up to 6 plants (IIRC) for "personal use", seems like a more sane idea. What part of recreational don't you understand? You won't even need a license to grow if this passes. That being said the Feds don't have the man power to police it at this point. If they did what you say they will, it would be like winning the unlucky lottery. The old system is crashing around the Feds and I love it. Fuckem! Its the will of the people, not the will of that cunt Sessions.

See, as long as it's still a felony to possess pot, they can use it against anyone that they want to arrest.

No need to grow in WA, just walk into the store and buy as little or as much as you want.

Making it illegal federally gives them a lot of power to fuck with people. I would strongly suggest none of you get a bug up your ass and toke up just because it's legal in your state. That could be used against you in a lot of ways.

Exactly. Or at least, don’t be obvious about it.Speaker to Animals wrote:Making it illegal federally gives them a lot of power to fuck with people.
