What do you guys think of all this Kevin Spacey stuff? I like some of his movies, though I am a bit put off by the idea of him wanting to cornhole minors. What percentage of Hollywood is degenerate and sexually rapacious? It seems like everyone is either: in on the sex, complaining about the sex, or covering up the sex. Its really, really weird and creepy. I don't know what to make of this.

Is it possible to make a movie or show anymore without someone's O-ring getting stretched like a yoga class? I'm not sure anymore. Goddamn people.

A big part of tv is to take your mind off of all the shit going on in the world. That's the same reason many people like sports. Whatever else is going on in the world, you can kick back, have a beer and enjoy a good game or a good show. Now, all of this carcinogenic shit from the outside is spilling into entertainment. I don't give a shit if they cancel house of cards, because that show has been a bit long in the teeth and stretched out (like Rapp after Spacey) for a long time now. But its everywhere. I like some of the movies Weinstein made, and it irritates me. Either these people are scum (which is very possible) or that many of these accusations are fake and people are just boarding the victim train (also very possible). Its very annoying either way. You should be able to make or star in movies without raping people, or making false rape accusations. If you are a millionaire, you can find prostitutes to indulge your sexual predilections no problem. Likewise, if you are a millionaire, you are successful enough not to need to coast on false accusations. I don't know which of these scenarios is true, but I wish to fuck that I could watch a goddamn movie without half the people being alleged rapists.

I can mostly compartmentalize. It's just a fact of life that there are a lot of scumbags, never mind people with dumb political opinions, etc, etc. It takes over 100 people to put on a football game and probably like 1,000 to make a movie. Some of em are gonna be scum.

I'm not really watching to bask in their moral rectitude. Make me laugh, or whatever your job is. We'll all be dead soon enough.

More true of someone like Weinstein than anybody. You don't even have to look at him for a second. He just financed the movie.

I don't think I'll ever be able to watch or listen to Cosby again. I don't think I like Spacey's work enough to think it will be a problem. He's always struck me as pretty smarmy.

I never liked Cosby, but I do think Roman Polanski has made some pretty good movies.

Yeah, Jon Jones is an idiot of epic proportions, but he's also the greatest pound for pound fighter the world has ever seen, so I'm not going to let his personality and his outside the ring shenanigans ruin my enjoyment of his excellence as a fighter. It would be nice if he stopped sabotaging himself by being so damn reckless, but then he wouldn't be Jon Jones, that's just the way she goes.
