I don't believe public accusations like that any longer, especially coming from the NYT. Maybe it's true, maybe not, but I don't trust the NYT as a general rule.

Once you start with this public shaming of a random successful man, we have seen women come out of the woodwork to lie about their own victimization stories. That Canadian radio host comes to mind where the women were all caught collaborating and making up lies in a private SMS group.

Everyone and their little sister says the guy's a slimy creep and that he has been forever; but in 2016 he was good enough for the Dems, and if HRC had won, I suspect he'd still be golden. I don't like these sudden pile-on's though--when courageous women come flooding forth, filled with filthy details for all the world to hear--certainly some of them must be guilty of some sort of... collusion in covering up what in some cases may be crimes.
