They did fuck all, the alt-right didn't win Trump the election, people who voted for Obama in key swing states did. There is a reason Trump is ditching the Alt-Right, he doesn't need them.

I think using the word alt-right is pointless unless you are specifically affiliated or a follower of people like Spencer, Johnson, or the people at TRS.

I agree that Vox Day misuses the term. I linked it because it really is an interesting debate on the legitimacy of the national socialists as a right wing group at all, and whether they should be included in an alt-right.

A better ontology would label the entire thing as identitarianism, of which the "alt-right" remains a subgroup.

Whatever. You are just posturing here and it's plain to see. That election was turned by all the memes that proliferated online, most of the effective memes originated from alt-right or alt-right-leaning groups online.

The democratic candidate was so rattled by it that she gave a national speech in an attempt to make the memes less effective (and hilariously failing).

Maybe. I don't know. I don't follow him. I don't follow either of them, so I wouldn't know.

I don't actually have a quarrel with being "indentitarian", but "white" doesn't tell me much, I suppose white would be part of my identity, but wholly insufficient as a determining factor, so you're white, so what?

Stalin was white too, but I'm not with Stalin, so you ain't telling me nothing, and if you reach for it, I'm still gonna draw down on you, commie.

Tsk tsk

FBI agents provocateur like Spencer...

Spencer might inform on far-right terror groups. I don't know. But I don't doubt the guy's sincerity.
Funny enough, I was joking about him being an agent, but I very much doubt his sincerity.

It becomes your identity whether you want it or not simply because your enemies use it against you. Here in America, the marxists and globalists wage a relentless campaign against people for being "white", so it doesn't matter whether you identity with it or not. You are tossed into the woodpile along with the rest of us based on your genetics.

You don't really get to opt out of it. I mean.. you can be that guy in the gulag who says he doesn't follow identity politics, even though it was identity politics that put him there, but that's just retarded.

Nec aspera terrent, my enemies may use all sorts of things against me, but that doesn't mean I sink to their level, if I was prepared to submit to their terms, they wouldn't be my enemies in the first place.

If you're prepared to throw your principles aside and become as the left, then there is no right at all, and so no cause for war.

If your plan to beat Stalin is to become Stalin, then it was all for nought.
