Yet you wonder why people think it was a bad idea to give the FCC chairman so much power over the internet?

Fuck Fake Net Neutrality, you rube, it was never about breaking up monopolies, they just told so they could sell the law, it was all about the FCC power grab, you're just one of the dumbasses who fell for it.

You have no right to bitch about the FCC regulating the internet when you support Obama's Net Neutrality, which gave them that power, so shut the fuck up already.

Scott Shackford:

FCC Chair Throws Water on Crazy Plan for Feds to Seize Control of Our 5G Networks
No, the government shouldn't nationalize our mobile infrastructure.

Nationalizing a massive chunk of a private industry is one of the crazier ideas to come out of the administration so far. Since this is a leak of a report, we have no idea how seriously the administration is taking it. They should back far away from this proposal.
Ajit's gonna need a bigger mug.

Ajit Pai, the last person that StA should be complaining about, since he loves the legislation that gave him all that power. Yet he has no idea why many of us might not like that legislation, he's the dumbest man in the world.

StA clearly wants the FCC chairman regulating the internet, hence his support for Obama's Fake Net Neutrality, yet he's triggered by the FCC regulating the internet.

Full retard gold.

Maybe, just maybe, some people realized the FCC would regulate to the internet and shut down ISP competition, instead regulating the internet to increase ISP competition, because that's what the FCC does. Just because Obama said his Fake Net Neutrality was going after monopolies, and the media said that's what the legislation was as well "believe us", that doesn't mean they weren't completely full of shit.

A catchy marketing slogan used to sell donkey legislation is all you need to fool the StA's of the world, as long as you call it Net Neutrality, it doesn't matter to him if it's the opposite of Net Neutrality, all that matters is the label makes it sound like a good idea, not whether or not it's actually a good idea.

If you called dog shit "Net Neutrality", StA would love that shit, and would think it somehow goes after monopolies.

The Federal Government Shouldn’t Build a 5G Network
In either case, President Donald Trump, in keeping with his reform agenda, should use every means at his disposal to unleash broadband innovation and investment through regulatory reform.

The White House also needs to examine the security of the existing network before expanding its interference in the market. Allowing government to seize control of the next generation wireless network would be a huge mistake.
