I did that with spawning salmon in Alaska. Of course I threw it back. Only the natives can catch em like that. Too easy and the meats no good anyway. The row is good tho
I prolly would have eaten an Alaskan Salmon, that's like $30/lb filleted.

A little perch is impressive tho
I was just lying on the side of the river in the rocks, he swam between these three rocks and got caught in there.

He was swimming against the current trying to get back out of the eddy.

I just put my hand under and scooped him unto the bank, like a foot away.

He got ejected from the stream.

I was excited, till I saw it was a Perch.

Oh we ate some. I caught a very large King salmon snag fishing in a man made lagoon once. Probably got ten pounds of smoked salmon off that fucker. Didn't have much luck with the reds or silver.

Most shotguns employed by the military in the ACW were double barrel break action.

They called them Messenger Guns because they were issued to stage coach drivers delivering messages.

They were 10 or 12 gauge and they loaded shells which were pretty similar to what you have now.
:clap:
Did not know that.

Here's a Confederate Cavalryman armed with one;

After the war, in the Old West, they came to be called Coach Guns, as in Stagecoach.

War to Preserve the Union.

We can just go with "Mr. Lincoln's War" if you'd prefer.

Federal City sent me the EZ pass; Mr. Lincoln done hooked Smitty Magnum Higgins up.

Uncle Abe come to free me from behind the Iron Curtain of the Eskimo Communists.

Marse Robert would forgive me;

"But feeling that valour and devotion could accomplish nothing that could compensate for the loss that must have attended the continuance of the contest, I have determined to avoid the useless sacrifice of those whose past services have endeared them to their countrymen."

Might makes Right, I reckon.

I wouldn't have requested a look at your "official" papers to give you a tenancy at the Casa de Fife curtilage. But I happen to know you and I'm a closed borders guy like that.
