His point is that the reaction to COVID is disproportionate to the actual effects of the virus.

I'll accept that. Still, he did respond "exactly" to "How can he catch a hoax?", which makes it sound like it's impossible to catch it.

Pretty sure when Trump said it was a hoax he meant that the Democrats were going to blame Trump for the virus, not that the virus didn't exist.

The use of the couf as propaganda & political manipulation is why it’s a hoax. Make no mistake, it was a “win” for the environmentalists & egalitarians.
