Florida is the prototype for multiculturalism in America. It's basically what happens when you throw a bunch of people with different values together.

The old Southern stock hates the Yankee transplants, the yankee transplants despise the rednecks right back.
The Haitians hate the Jamaicans, and the Jamaicans hate them right back.
Every immigrant group hates on the Cubans for being uber successful and actually patriotic.
The Seminoles laugh as every race sends their dopamine addicts to become destitute on tribal land.

It's quite possible that there's some sort of brain drain going on, too. Most of the kids I know who could leave did leave. My lady and I fled to the midwest and never looked back, lol.
